Today the district was closed for Memorial Day so we did not
attend class. However, we did plan for our review day tomorrow which will
include a review session of all of our lessons thus far. My biggest fear is
that after this long weekend the kids will have forgotten everything that we’ve
worked so hard on! After tomorrow’s review session we will shift into full gear
on our upcoming performance on the fourth. We have already begun breaking the
students into groups for the performance as we have observed where the students’
strengths and weaknesses in the language. While we think it is a good idea to
assign parts for the performance, we are worried that this might cause
conflict. We are working hard to make sure every student gets a speaking part
but it is really difficult! Any suggestions on how we can assign parts without
hurting any feelings??
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
# 1. Post a blog 3 times a week (M, W & F) of at least 200 words. In your blogs you could:
-describe something you learned
-explain something that surprised you
-give an update about stuff you're working on
-explain how you solved a problem
-tell a cool story
Also include images, sounds or video from your project.
# 2. Respond thoughtfully to another blogger's posts on this site. Post 1 of these response-blogs per week (200 or more words each).
Each of you is expected to contribute to this blog--even if you're working with another student or with a group.
I'm really looking forward to following your project via your postings! Have fun!
